We are really pleased to announce that Karl - (Stormbird's The Alchymist) will be joining us from Anne Buvik's well known Stormbird Kennel later this autumn. He is already a Best Puppy in Show winner - twice over!!!! We can't wait to welcome him to Risdene.
After losing Josh earlier this year, John and I were devastated to lose our wonderful and most perfect friend, the irrepressible Floyd – Nor CH Alhambra Kenneth Branagh as well. It is hard to believe that he won’t ever again put his head into our hands and look at us with his beautiful eyes, or snuggle under the desk to keep us company while we work.
"He is my other eyes that can see above the clouds; my other ears that hear above the winds. He is the part of me that can reach out into the sea. He has taught me the meaning of devotion. With him, I know a secret comfort and a private peace. He has brought me understanding where before I was ignorant. His head on my knee can heal my human hurts. His presence by my side is protection against my fears of dark and unknown things.
